A pandemia do Coronavírus, que tem obrigado milhões de pessoas a permanecerem em quarentena dentro de casa restringindo a aglomerações nas principais cidades do Brasil e do mundo, também afetou profundamente o calendário de shows no Brasil, obviamente. O ano de 2020 seria – não sabemos se será – um ano interessante: Guns, Sammy, Metallica e Kiss só pra começar. Uma tragédia se forem cancelados.

Acho que, neste momento, não há dúvidas que todos os eventos e shows serão adiados ou cancelados, só nos resta aguardar pelo óbvio. Uma pena, pois seria uma catarse de ótimos momentos. E sim, o prejuízo financeiro será relevante, além do emocional…
É hora que a maioria que curte heavy metal gosta – ANTISOCIAL total. Ficar em casa, botar um álbum para ouvir, abrir algo para tomar e aumentar o contato tecnológico com os chegados – se é que isso é possível…

Opa se eu fui afetado diretamente: Sonata Arctica, Sons of Apollo, Riverside! Os medalhões acima levam multidões e era mais claro que seriam adiados, mas não achava que um show para 2000 pessoas em um Carioca Club seria abordado (a ordem na prefeitura de SP é para que eventos acima de 500 pessoas, haja cancelamento).
Quanto ao vídeo da Itália, tem vários vídeos do pessoal cantando assim, muitos verdadeiros – não sei se seria montagem uma dessa de War Pigs…

Infelizmente vivemos esse momento delicado, o cancelamento é inevitável e necessário. Dificil , mas tenho de concordar com a medida.
Todos os pensamentos precisam estar no sentido de passarmos por esse pesadelo. Depois disso seria excelente comemorar assistindo esses que estão sendo postergados, espero, para não muito tempo pra frente.

UPDATE FROM THE BUNKER
Greetings… not from our usual HQ haunts, but this time from our living rooms, bedrooms, and basements. As many of you know, in our nearly forty years of touring, we’ve had a few mishaps along the way: broken bones, trashed appendixes, a pyro mishap, backs thrown out, crazy weather, food poisoning (beware of the oysters!), and even one way next-level anxiety attack! None of it has ever stopped us, but this is obviously a very different time, and leaving the house now literally means taking your life in your hands. Unfortunately, in these surreal times, that means we have to stay away from each other for the foreseeable future before we can start thinking about ‘Tallica Family reunions around the world.
We’re all putting safety first, self-isolating and socially distancing, but not forever! With that said, the South American shows originally planned for April are in the process of moving to December; Greta Van Fleet is going to stay on board to take this ride with us, and we’ll be hitting each and every city, but a few venues may have changed. We’ll be back later this week with the new dates and details about tickets, venues, and everything you need to know to help you make plans.
For those of you in the States, you know that we have some festival dates planned in May and unfortunately the news is not quite as good. With heavy hearts, we’re here to let you know that Epicenter in Charlotte, Welcome to Rockville in Daytona, and Sonic Temple in Columbus have all been cancelled. There is one bright note; Louder Than Life in Louisville (September 17-20) has ADDED a date and we’re excited that we’ll once again be able to partake in the festivities as we’ll be hitting the stage on Thursday, September 17th to kick off what will be four days of live music and good vibes. Additional headliners for the remainder of Louder Than Life will be announced at a later date. Please head over to DannyWimmerPresents.com for all the information. Details regarding refunds and exchanges for the May shows will also be available there starting Thursday, March 26th.
Finally, to our friends in Australia and New Zealand, please know that we have not forgotten and you’re still in our hearts and minds. We will make it to your part of the world as soon as we can. We promise!

The French authorities signed the end of the game. There will be no HELLFEST this year.
Over the past few days, many of you have been concerned about this 15th anniversary edition. You showed us your support in this unprecedented situation that hits us full in the face so badly. Just like you, we believed until the last minute that the festival could take place this year.
Unfortunately, in the face of this unprecedented situation, the Loire-Atlantique Prefecture and Ministry of Culture took the only reasonable decision, to ban the festival. The 2020 HELLFEST EDITION is therefore cancelled. We are supporting their decision and would like to thank them for their consideration and responsiveness towards our festival.
The longer the days went by, the more it seemed impossible to envisage a 2020 edition, guaranteeing a satisfactory organization and most important: your safety. Aware that the risk of contagion related to the Covid-19 will still be high in June, it would have been irresponsible and dangerous for us to allow tens of thousands of fans – shirtless and thirsty- to gather in such a restricted area. The public authorities also told us that they are no longer able to guarantee the usual safety and rescue services (i.e. police unit, emergency units, medical support, etc) for any large gathering like ours.
With a heavy heart, we’ve come to the decision to postpone this 15th anniversary edition of Hellfest to June 18th,19th and 20th of 2021.
If you are in possession of a 3-Days Ticket or 1-Day Ticket for the 2020 edition, we offer you to keep your ticket for the 2021 edition, without any additional costs. You have nothing to do ! You will be send, as soon as possible, a new ticket valid for the 2021 edition of Hellfest!
If you do not wish or are unsure to participate in the 2021 edition, you have two choices :
Visit Ticketswap, the only official retailer of festival tickets that guarantees a secure transaction. No need to specify the tickets purchased by any other means will not be valid (Viagogo, Stubhub, etc.).
By choosing this option you will make a happy festival goer who was despaired not to come this year and our Association will be able to keep the value of the ticket to prepare the 2021 edition of Your festival.
Of course, and according to the law, a refund option will be offered in the coming days. We will come back to you about this once the solution is implemented, included for the specificities related to the different transport packages (train, bus, etc).
This is a real blow for our non-profit Association and to the entire territory.
Out of respect for you, the fans who made the festival what it is today, we want to be transparent about the impact this “forced” postponement will have.
As of today, the Hellfest Productions Association will have to face several difficulties. In contrast to other sectors (which will also be hard hit by a downturn in the economy over several months), our Association will financially lose a whole year. The government measures, which we applaud, will not be enough to make up for the heavy losses we will have to face. Wages, general and promotional costs, bank depreciations are all incompressible costs that cannot be financed with a “blank year”.
Aware of the risks and its responsibility, Hellfest Productions Association has nevertheless taken care to take out insurance of type “all except” with the company named ALBINGIA, French insurance company located in Levallois Perret, for the modest amount of 175,000€. Sum corresponding to the amount of the premium of the contract supposed to cover us of potential risks leading to a cancellation. The same insurance contract clearly stipulates that financial losses due to possible pandemics will be covered provided that the contract was signed before the outbreak and recognition of the pandemic by the French authorities or by the WHO. Our contract was signed on December 17, 2019, before the virus appears in China.
But here we are, our insurance company is demonstrating to those still doubting, that it is easier to pay insurance premiums rather than to obtain reparation for damages that we are supposed to be covered. Therefore, we were denied from ALBINGIA because this “type” of pandemic did not fit into our insurance policy.
We obviously contest this reading. For ALBINGIA, solidarity is for others, taking the risk of putting their policyholders in economic difficulties. Their reasoning is simple, take our contributions for a cancellation insurance YES, compensate us: NEVER. The idea?! Playing with words and interpretations to start a trial which last for several years. Meanwhile, the company will keep the money we should be able to claim. This is the reason why we want to shed light today on these shameful practices especially in times like this.
Solidarity and commitments compliance should be the main concerns of insurers company.
In short, while we are waiting for a long procedure, only two words come to us for this specialized event and audiovisual insurance company: FUCK YOU!
Far from being a relief for us, this one-year postponement also puts in financial difficulties many actors, without whom the festival could not take place : intermittents, service providers, suppliers, partner associations, producers, artists, etc. Some of them will be seriously affected by the loss of their activity, and we we would like to express our unwavering support to them. We will see you all in 2021, once these difficult times are over.
Despite these uncertain times, our motivation and our will are stronger than ever. Thanks to your support, to that of our partners (excepting the insurance one obviously …), to that of our volunteers, and all music lover in general, we will continue to wear the colors of the extreme music legacy, be sure!

Everywhere in France, calls for donations are multiplying to help healthcare workers directly affected by this tragedy. In the face of this situation, we couldn’t stay still.
As an unifying event of such a big community, Hellfest Productions wants to participate to the will but we also count on YOU !
We are launching an online fundraising fund to help and support Nantes University Hospital and donating 20,000€. This is the amount of the usual costs of our emergency doctors and units on the festival, protecting and taking care of you every year and who will not be solicited this year.

Como todos sabem desde o dia 11/03/2020, foi decretado estado de calamidade pública pela OMS e pelo Governo, inclusive com a decretação de fechamento de espaços públicos, casas de espetáculos, espaços culturais e outros, diante da Pandemia do Coronavírus.
Isso gerou um gigantesco impacto econômico que rapidamente atingiu as empresas da indústria criativa e cultural, interrompendo totalmente seu faturamento em virtude das restrições de saúde pública no tocante à reunião de multidões.
Desta forma, viemos pela presente esclarecer os procedimentos que serão adotados, quanto aos eventos cancelados ou adiados no período de calamidade pública reconhecido pelo Decreto Legislativo nº 6/2020 e conforme Medida Provisória nº 948, de 08 de abril de 2020.
Segundo a lei, na hipótese de cancelamento de eventos, os produtores não serão obrigados a reembolsar os valores pagos pelo consumidor, desde que assegurem que:
I – O evento seja remarcado, sendo que o produtor terá até 12 meses para remarcar o evento adiado ou cancelado a contar da data do fim da pandemia, condicionado atualmente a 31/12/2020.
II – A conversão de crédito para uso ou abatimento na compra de outro(s) ingressos, sendo que o produtor do evento pode oferecer outro evento similar e de mesmo valor a ser realizado, a partir do fim da pandemia (estimado em 31/12/2020) ou um crédito na plataforma de venda de ingresso online para ser usado em qualquer outro evento.
III – Outro acordo a ser formalizado junto ao consumidor, dependendo das partes para que esse acordo seja definitivo.
Caso as partes não cheguem a um acordo, o produtor tem até 31/12/2021 para devolver o valor pago pelo ingresso corrigido pelo IPCA-E.

LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOURING UPDATE 2020/21
I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well, wherever you may be, and my continued thanks to you all for bearing with us so patiently.
Due to the continuing health issues Worldwide around Covid-19 we regretfully inform you that Iron Maiden will now not be playing any concerts until June 2021.
However, we are now in a position to give you details of our touring plans in respect to those shows we had hoped to play this year.
Firstly, we are very pleased to tell you that we’ve managed to reschedule all our European own-shows on the Legacy Of The Beast tour for June/July 2021 with the exception of Moscow, St Petersburg, Weert and Zurich which unfortunately we have been unable to re-arrange in this period.
To consolidate the tour routing, as you can see, we have added 2 further shows in Arnhem and Antwerp.
We are in the process of inviting back all the Special Guests and supports who were due to play with us this year. Where any band is unable to commit to this due to their own rescheduling situations, we will look at finding other suitable acts of equivalent stature. The majority are already confirmed and can be found here.
Re-arranging the headline Festival dates has unfortunately not been possible. This is mainly because we already had an extremely busy year lined up for 2021 and, as I’m sure you can imagine, a great deal of forward planning has already gone on and there’s only so much we can do within the timeline and logistics already in place. The band enjoy playing at Festivals so please be assured we will get back to as many of these as we can at another time.
In respect of what should have been the opening leg of the 2020 tour starting on May 1 in Perth, Australia and visiting New Zealand, the Philippines, Japan, Dubai and Israel, we are currently working on a possible return to as many of these countries as we can, in some guise, in the first half of 2022, more news on that will follow at the appropriate time.
The band are all fine and send you guys their best wishes, they are very much looking forward to getting back on stage next year and seeing you all so, please, continue to take care of yourselves and stay SMART.

Devido ao cenário mundial causado pela pandemia de COVID-19, que resultou na decretação do estado de calamidade pública em março de 2020, a Medida Provisória n. 948/2020 define em seu artigo 2º que os promotores e/ou produtores dos eventos estarão desobrigados de efetuar o reembolso do valor dos ingressos, quando puderem atender o item I do caput, garantido a realização do evento em uma nova data, o que poderá ocorrer em um prazo de até 12 meses, após encerrado o estado de calamidade pública.
Assim a Eventim, como empresa contratada pelos promotores e/ou produtores dos eventos para efetuar a comercialização dos ingressos, seguirá as diretivas e instruções definidas por estes, atendendo a Medida Provisória 948, de 8 de abril de 2020, que tem força de lei. Tais diretrizes da Medida Provisória estão alinhadas com anteriores orientações e recomendações dos mais relevantes órgãos de controle e defesa dos direitos dos consumidores (SENACON, MINISTÉRIOS PÚBLICOS e PROCONS ESTADUAIS), como pode ser observado inclusive nos termos da NOTA TÉCNICA PARA COMPOSIÇÃO DE CONFLITOS NAS RELAÇÕES DE CONSUMO DECORRENTES DA PANDEMIA MUNDIAL CORONAVÍRUS – COVID19 (link: https://www.procon.sp.gov.br/coronavirus-7/ )
Tudo isto com o fito de que se evite uma verdadeira catástrofe no setor de entretenimento ao vivo brasileiro, sensivelmente afetado pelos efeitos globais da pandemia, como vem sendo amplamente noticiado.
Informamos portanto, que seu ingresso segue válido para a nova data da apresentação de seu artista, não sendo passível de reembolso.

Considerando que o ano de 2020 praticamente acabou (e mal existiu para shows), o Lolla, que contaria com Guns e foi adiado para dezembro, deve também ir para o vinagre.
