Neste apêndice a discografia Rush procura trazer em detalhes os anagramas propostos por Neil Peart na canção “Anagram (For Mongo)”, a oitava faixa do álbum “Presto”.

Um anagrama, é, por definição, uma palavra ou frase formada pela reorganização das letras de uma palavra ou frase diferente, normalmente usando todas as letras originais exatamente uma vez. A palavra ou frase original é conhecida como o sujeito do anagrama. Qualquer palavra ou frase que reproduza exatamente ou mesmo parcialmente as letras em outra ordem é um anagrama. Alguém que cria anagramas pode ser chamado de “anagramatista”, e o objetivo de um anagramatista sério ou habilidoso é produzir anagramas que reflitam ou comentem sobre o seu assunto. Neil Peart, além de espetacular baterista e letrista, poderia ser considerado, então, um ótimo anagramatista.
