aproveitando o boom relacionado ao Guns N’ Roses na América do Sul e principalmente no Brasil, solto mais um post “relacionado” ao Guns N’ Roses: Slash andou afirmando que sua turnê solo passará pela América do Sul!
“As datas da minha turnê serão confirmadas em breve. Na semana que vem vou anunciar datas na Europa, no Japão e na Austrália, e logo em seguida América do Sul, México e Estados Unidos.”
Vale lembrar que o disco solo do Slash contou com a participação de convidados vários convidados… a “fazer o quê”, né Fergie (Black Eyed Peas), Lemmy (Motörhead), Cypress Hill, Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Cornell (ex-Soundgarden), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) e Travis Barker (Blink-182).

Anyone catching Slash on the tour with Ozzy? Or even better, getting to see him on any of the rare “headlining” shows in-between Ozzy dates? I was fortunate enough to be able to see one of the “headline” gigs a week ago as he played just about 30 miles from my house.
He played most of the new album, including Ghost, Back From Cali, Beautiful Dangerous, Starlight, Dr. Alibi, and By The Sword. He threw in a couple Snakepit songs, including about an 8-minute rendition of Jizz Da Pit. He even covered Lenny Kravitz’s Always On The Run and threw in VR’s Slither. And a bunch of GNR tunes including Civil War, Nightrain, Rocket Queen, Mr. Brownstone, SCOM, My Michelle and Paradise City.
2 hours of great rock n’ roll. Slash was in a good mood on stage, joking about he’d play everything on the new album if he wanted to, telling a story about his first girlfriend (who was from Oregon), and honoring Lemmy during Dr. Alibi by having all the microphones way up high pointing down. He turned a little serious when introducing Civil War, saying if we’ve been paying attention to current events this song might mean something.
I spent a few minutes with Slash backstage, took a couple pictures and then headed out.
