Eis que o Rolf ataca diretamente de Berlim com algo que qualquer fã de Judas e de metal deve ir ao visitar Berlim – mais um para a lista.

For the unwary reader of these few and humble lines, I really trust that this post finds you well!

Minuto HM was in Berlin and visited the Rockcafe Halford bar, considered as one of the greatest and famous local metal points in the city.

After having spent a few minutes – believe me – searching for places regarding metal, this bar just popped up on the top of the list in an app about places to know in Berlin. It was not a tough decision to go there. A bar with this name couldn’t be better. After setting the Google Maps to reach there ensuring that I got some few Euro in my pocket I went to the subway station nearest of my hotel to check this place out.

Berlin runs along a huge network subway infra so get anywhere here is very easy.

In São Paulo, we have for example Morrison Bar and Gillian’s bar. Both of them with rock and metal thematics of course but the main question relies on why are the lead vocals dominating the metal bars thematic around the world? Why always should be the lead singers? Remote, let’s open a bar to pay a tribute to the bass players! Sounds good for you?

Going back I arrived at the bar around 10:00 p.m.. The bar was opened with just a few customers inside. The place is dark and have a great environment with dozens of Judas Priest’s records and photos around. Queensrÿche, Nightwish, Lita Ford, Europe and great video clips were played with a very good sound quality. Around 80% of the stuff is related to Judas Priest and Rob Halford. The main surprise was a poster fixed on the roof: “Accept – the legend is back”. It was a merchandising about Blood of the Nations record. I was so glad to see this poster there. Finally something about this great german band was found. After checking the memorabilia around, I ordered 2 beers, took some “great” pictures as usual and went back to my hotel. Mission accomplished!

Botton line: if you are planning to go to Berlin and love metal, don’t hesitate to go there.
